My name is Carole, I make all sorts of stuff: plates, mugs and cups, bowls, tiles, t shirts, photos, etc. I call it all McCheek’s Mayhem I am originally from Edinburgh, went to art College in London, started and ran Candy’s Chandies lighting business. Met my husband on a business trip to America and ended up living in Houston, Texas. It’s a far cry from the UK, but I like it, lots of space, and masses of sunshine. We own two warehouses where we live and work, in the middle of the city, but with our large garden it feels like we’re in the country. My studio is next door to my husbands T shirt shop.
